The new Permanent Representative of Sudan to the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Vienna, Ambassador Magdy Ahmed Mufaddal, presented his credentials to the Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA, Thomas Stelzer. Ambassador Mufaddal conveyed greetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his affirmation of Sudan's readiness to cooperate with the Academy in all relevant axes. He pointed to the importance of the file of combating corruption in the country reviewing efforts to achieve economic development, attract investments and enhance the democratic experience, calling for benefiting from the expertise of the Academy and providing technical assistance to the country and contributing to building national capacities and exchanging experiences in the field of fighting corruption.
For his part, Thomas Stelzer affirmed the Academy's readiness to cooperate with Sudan and contribute to meeting the needs of the parties related to combating corruption through technical support, capacity building and funding some projects in cooperation with international partners at the bilateral and multilateral levels and asked Magdy Ahmed Mufaddal to convey his greetings to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
