The Director General of the Sudanese Company for Free Zones and Free Shops, Dr. Al-Fateh Awad Allah, during his address to the opening ceremony of the 40th session of Khartoum International Fair , inaugurated 24 Tuesday of current January, indicated that the exhibition is distinguished from the previous sessions with the participation of new countries participating for the first time alongside major international companies, expressing his thanks to the participating countries and companies in this session of the Khartoum International Fair, pointing to the activities of the Sudanese company For free markets in the Fair with the expansion of its business, revealing the establishment of a number of free zones in the Red Sea region and floating docks in the Red Sea, in addition to areas in Djibouti and Port Saeed in Egypt.
The representative of the Sudanese Businessmen & Employers Federation, Ali Salah Ali Ahmed, affirmed the Union's readiness to provide the support required to achieve development in the country’s national economy. He pointed the importance of taking advantage of historical opportunities to enhance communication and economic relations with brotherly and friendly countries and to create new entities and companies with a number of countries.
Referring to the Ukrainian-Russian war and its effects on food security, indicagting the Sudan’s large agricultural resources capability to be the world food basket, appreciating efforts of the Ministry of Trade and the Sudanese Free Zones and Markets Company for in holding this session, as well as the exhibiting companies and the media.On her part, the representative of the Algerian Minister of Trade, Maya Boulad, affirmed the eternal Sudanese-Algerian relations, expressing her hopes to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries, pointing to the participation of (40) Algerian institutions and companies in the Khartoum International Fair, covering all economic and commercial fields, wishing the success for this session.
