Foreign Ministry Strongly Condemns Incident of Burning the Holy Quran

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its strong condemnation of the incident of the burning the Holy Quran by an extremist in front of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
The ministry affirmed Sudan's firm position calling for the importance of spreading the values of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence, rejecting hatred and the refrain from the insulting of religions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denounced the justifications of the Swedish authorities that considered the incident as falling under the concept of freedom of expression.
