Joint Political Mechanism Holds Meeting in Juba

The Joint Political and Security Mechanism of Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan held yesterday its regular meeting in Juba the capital of South Sudan. The Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs of South Sudan, Angelina Teny addressed the opening of the meeting, welcoming the Sudanese delegation headed by the Minister of Defense Lt. General Yaseen Ibrahim.
The Sudan's Minister of Defense, on his part praised the joint mechanism role in enhancing the deeply-rooted relations between the two countries. It is worth noting that the technical committees of the joint mechanism held a meeting yesterday in preparation for the meetings of the joint political and security mechanism.
