The Sudanese Mineral Resources Company has announced the achievement of the biggest gold production in the history of the minerals’ sector in Sudan in the year 2022.
The Director of the General Administration for Supervision and Monitoring of the Production Companies, Engineer Ala-Eddin Mohamed Ali, said that the production rate of gold for the year 2022 amounted to 18 tons and 637 kilograms from the production of the regular sector of privilege companies and companies dealing with the traditional mining waste. He indicated that the productivity, which is the highest in the history of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, increased by one ton and 611 kilograms from the highest production in the past period, which was achieved in the year 2019, which amounted to 17 tons and 26 kilograms. Eng. Ala-Eddin attributed this increase in production to the directives and close follow-up of the senior management of the company, led by General Manager Mubarak Ardol, and his assistant staff, backed by the concerted efforts of the employees of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company and its partners from the mining companies investing in the gold sector.
