TSC President and Saudi Crown Prince Hold Talks at Royal Court in Jeddah

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived on Monday in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he was received at the Royal Court by His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The two sides held a joint session of talks, reviewing the course of bilateral relations and prospects for enhancing and advancing areas of joint cooperation between the two countries.
The TSC President expressed his appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, commending its role in supporting Sudan across various fields. He reaffirmed Sudan’s government and people’s solidarity with the Kingdom against attacks targeting its security and stability, underscoring Sudan’s rejection and condemnation of Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia.
The meeting also addressed regional security and stability, particularly in the Red Sea.
General Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan’s readiness to provide all forms of support to Saudi Arabia, noting that the Kingdom’s security is an integral part of Sudan’s security. He praised the wisdom of the Saudi leadership under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
For his part, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince welcomed the TSC President’s visit, affirming the depth of historical ties between the two brotherly countries and expressing appreciation for Sudan’s supportive positions. Both sides affirmed their commitment to continued consultation and close coordination on regional issues.
The TSC President was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim, Director of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, and was joined by Sudan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dafallah Al-Haj Ali.
