TSC Member Ibrahim Jabir acquainted with UNDP's Efforts to Provide Services in Khartoum State
Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir has been acquainted with the efforts and contributions of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to reconstruction, rehabilitation and provision of services in Khartoum State. This came during his meeting on Thursday with the UNDP Resident Representative Mr. Luca Renda.
Mr. Renda explained, in a press statement, that the meeting touched on the situation in Khartoum State and the UNDP's role in strengthening the return program and projects to Khartoum State and providing basic services to citizens, such as electricity, water, and health, in addition to contributing to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of service, educational, and health facilities. Mr. Renda added that the UNDP would exert efforts, in coordination and cooperation with the government, to implement its plans and programs during the coming period.
