Minister of Culture and Information and his Bahraini counterpart

At the beginning of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the activities of the Arab Information Ministers' Conference, Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Gerham Abdul-Gadir, met with his Bahraini counterpart, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi.

The meeting reviewed the two countries' efforts for joint cooperation to establish executive programs and sign memorandums of understanding and agreements that serve the media, cultural and tourism aspects.

Minister of Culture and Information stressed the depth of relations between the peoples of the two countries in various fields and areas of joint cooperation, particularly there exist a number of agreements and aspects of cooperation in the educational, health and economic aspects. Meanwhile, Bahraini Minister of Information expressed their full readiness to stand with Sudan until it overcomes the exceptional stage it is currently going through, emphasizing the outcomes of the summit held recently in Manama, working to implement them and striving to find cooperation formulas that serve the literary, artistic and media aspects.

The Minister thanked the State of Bahrain, king, government and people, for the warm reception and hospitality, as well as for the services provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain to Sudanese transiting to neighboring countries and residing in the Kingdom.
