The Ministry of Investment revealed its plan for the year 2024, which included the investment plan during the post-war transitional period.
Minister of Investment Ahlam Madani Mahdi Sabeel said that the meeting that took place today in Gedaref discussed the matrix of the plan, which included improving the investment environment and post-war reconstruction requirements in order to advance the country through the investment sector, noting that the plan focused on many aspects represented by the administrative, legislative, promotional and reconstruction aspects. In addition to increasing the field survey to reach various projects and census the lands allocated for investment to confront the huge promotional campaign for projects offered for investment, which was prepared by the Ministry in cooperation with the relevant states and ministries, the plan also did not neglect the work of free zones because of their importance in trade and investment exchange through the opening of many free zones which will be witnessed in the year 2024
“We are working hard with the states to activate investment work in the country.” She said, emphasizing the Ministry’s keenness to propose investment projects that have a benifit on the economy, expressing her ministry’s desire to provide all requirements that would accelerate the economy by improving the investment environment and developing the necessary plans and legislation. She explained that the plan brought with it all the previous positives and improved the negatives results of the past work.
