Foreign Minister Receives Ambassador of Belarus

The acting Foreign Minister, Ambassador Ali Al-Saddiq Ali, received in his office on Wednesday the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Sudan, resident in Cairo, Sergey Trenev, who affirmed his keenness to strengthen further the relations between the two countries in all fields, escribing the relations between Sudan and Belarus as firm. He asserted his country's readiness to cooperate with Sudan, which it regards an allied and a friendly country.
On his part, the minister welcomed the Ambassador of Belarus, and thanked him, on behalf of the people and government of Sudan, for the humanitarian aid provided by Belarus to Sudan lately. He expressed the keenness of Sudan for convocation of the joint political consultation committee and the joint ministerial committee, affirming Sudan openness to the cooperation with Belarus and the exchange of support in all fields.
