AfDB affirms support to Sudan

Khartoum, Sep.14(SUNA)-Director of Planning Policies and Researches Department at Ministry of Trade ,Al-Fateh Abdalla Yusuf, discussed with delegation of the African Development Bank(AfDB) mission led by director of international organizations directorate, Kauthar Ismail ways and means of joint cooperation. The meeting was attended by representatives of the trade facilitations committee at Ministry of Trade and Supply and Central Bank of Sudan(CBOS). The meeting which took place at the Ministry of Trade today discussed a host of trade-related axes and topics , top of which was the cost of doing business in Sudan, the latest developments that followed Sudan’ signing of agreement of the African Continental Free Trade Area and problems and challenges facing the domestic trade so as to prepare report on Sudan for the period 2017-2021. The meeting reaffirmed importance of further cooperation with the AfDB for attracting technical support for interest of trade sector in area of human and institutional capacity building and conducting studies. ab
