Arab Parliament welcomes formation of new government
Khartoum, Feb. 9 (SUNA) – The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, His Excellency Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, has welcomed the formation of the new Sudanese government, which was approved by the Transitional Sovereign Council. He appreciated the step as it would contribute to completing the benefits of the transitional period, and the peace process in Sudan, calling on the Arab and the world countries to fully open up their relations with the Republic of Sudan, and to strengthen these relations at all levels to enhance security and stability. The speaker of the Arab Parliament reaffirmed the firm position of the Arab Parliament regarding the full and continuous support for everything that contributes to strengthening Sudan's security and stability, in a way that achieves the aspirations and hopes of the Sudanese people towards peace, development and prosperity. ta
