Monte Carlo Radio to Broadcast Programs on Sudan

Monte Carlo Radio

Khartoum, Aug. 1 (SUNA) – The recent legal changes and amendments in Sudan motivated Radio Monte Carlo to prepare integrated programs broadcast throughout the week on women and Sudan, according to the director of French radio. The Director of Monte Carlo radio, Suaad Al-Tayeb, said in an interview with the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), which would be broadcast on various SUNA sites, that the radio has pre-pared several programs on Sudan which will be presented throughout a whole week. She indicated that this decision came in the wake of the recent legal amendments in Sudan. She considered these amendments as approach to open the door to reflect aspects of life in Sudan. Suaad pointed out these laws preserve the dignity of women, especially as they were land-mark events in the Sudanese revolution, adding that the Sudanese people are much interact-ing with the Monte Carlo radio among the listeners in the Arab countries.
