Daglo Receives UN Sanctions Committee
Khartoum, Nov. 14 (SUNA) – Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, Thursday evening received at his residence the visiting chairperson of the UN Sanctions Committee for Darfur and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, Lt. Gen. Daglo stressed that the reasons for the sanctions imposed on Sudan by the Security Council have now expired, and that Sudan has made great progress, especially after the political transformation that has been achieved and the start of the transitional civilian government to its tasks.
