Chaired by Al-Burhan, Security and Defense Council Meeting Reviews Security Situation

The Security and Defense Council convened its regular meeting on Wednesday in Khartoum under the chairmanship of President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, with full attendance of its members.
In a press statement, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Hassan Daoud Kabron said the Council commended the Sudanese Armed Forces and supporting units across all combat fronts for the victories achieved during the recent period. He indicated that the meeting reviewed the country’s security and military situation and assessed overall preparations and logistical readiness to confront rebels and mercenaries.
The Minister of Defense affirmed that all necessary measures have been undertaken to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens.
