Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications Participates in MWC Barcelona Ministerial Program

Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications Engineer Ahmed Dirdiri Ghandour participated in the ministerial program of MWC Barcelona 2026, one of the leading global platforms for dialogue on digital transformation policies and the future of technology.
The program brought together ministers, policymakers, and technology leaders to discuss key issues shaping the future of the global digital economy, including governance of the digital space, building resilient digital infrastructure, and leveraging emerging technologies.
During the discussions, Sudan presented its ongoing efforts to develop the national digital ecosystem, expand digital government services through the “Baldna” platform, and strengthen international partnerships that support innovation and digital connectivity while opening new opportunities for citizens.
As Sudan advances along the path of digital transformation, participation in international platforms such as MWC contributes to building partnerships, exchanging expertise, and opening new prospects for investment and cooperation in support of the country’s vision for a more resilient and inclusive digital future.
