Saudi Foreign Minister Visits Prime Minister, Affirms Strength of Bilateral Relations
Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, paid a visit to the Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, at his residence. During the meeting, Saudi Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Kingdom’s leadership, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to the Prime Minister.
For his part, the Prime Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – its King, Crown Prince, government, and people – for their continued concern, humanitarian support, and efforts to assist Sudan and its people through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief). He also extended his gratitude to the Kingdom’s government for the distinguished medical care he received at King Faisal Specialist Hospital following a recent health setback.
The meeting reaffirmed the deep historical ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Sudan, discussing ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the common interests of both brotherly peoples. It was also agreed to reschedule the upcoming official visit of Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the near future, underscoring the solidity of fraternal relations and the shared commitment to enhancing coordination and cooperation between the two countries.
