TSC President Issues Decision Subjecting all Forces Supporting SAF to the Armed Forces Act's Provisions
In affirmation of the rule of law, strengthening command and control, and in accordance with the provisions of the Armed Forces (SAF) Act, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, issued a decision subjecting all supporting forces operating with the Armed Forces and carrying weapons to the provisions of the Armed Forces Act of 2007 and its amendments, which shall apply to its personnel.
All these forces shall be under the command of the commanders of the Armed Forces in the various areas.
The decision took effect as of August 16, 2025.
