Hamdouk Receives US Congress Delegation
Khartoum, Jan. 23 (SUNA) – The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, received in his office Thursday a high-level delegation of the US Congress, headed by Ms. Karen Bass, The Prime Minister has briefed the delegation on the positive changes that occurred in Sudan, affirming that the transitional government aims seriously to realize a better future for the country. He stated that the partnership between the civilian and military components in rule in Sudan could be a model one in the world. The US Congress delegation has expressed readiness to support the transitional government in the country, appreciating the efforts of the Prime Minister for foundation of a democratic regime in Sudan.
