Minister of Defense Meets Qatari Ambassador

Khartoum, Oct 7(SUNA)- Minister of Defense Lt(Gen) Gamal Al Dein Omar Mohamed Ibra-him met Monday in his office with Qatari Ambassador to Sudan Abdel Rahman Bin Ali Al-Keybsi in the presence of Qatari military attaché.  The two sides praised the developed relations between the two countries based on mutual interests particularly the strengthening of peace and stability in Sudan. The meeting also commended the genuine efforts exerted by Qatar in Darfur peace process. Moreover, the two sides stressed promoting the volume of Qatar investments in Sudan. In conclusion the Qatari ambassador stressed the importance of military cooperation between the two countries in the field of training and the role competent role of Sudanese cadres in promoting the performance of Qatari institutions.  AA
