SC: Youths Convinced Armed Forces to Side With the Revolution

Medani, Oct.6 (SUNA) - Member of the Sovereignty Council, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Jaber, stressed that the Sudanese youths have convinced the Armed Forces to side with the glorious December revolution and with the Sudanese people’s desire. Addressing the Agricultural Research Corporation's workers in Medani on Sunday, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim said that the youths have provided examples on civilization, respect and morality. The member of the Sovereignty Council has affirmed the state commitment to support the agricultural research and affirmed that agriculture is the only way to solve Sudan problems, stressing and that the scientists are the bais for development. The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Engineer Eissa Osman Al-Sharif, announced that all the bases through which the directors were chosen would be reviewed, asserting that the ministry is concerned with the agricultural research and programs. The Wali governor) of Gezira State, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Mannan Ahmed, said that the promoti-on of development of agricultural research willould lead to the development of Gezira Scheme, announcing his support to all programs and activities of Agricultural Research Corporation. The Deputy Director General of the Agricultural Research Corporation, Professor Adil Mohamed Salih, said that agricultural research is the spear-head in the production process, calling for more financefunding, concern with the training of employees and improvement of theb service conditions. The representative of the Freedom and Change at the corporation expressed their pleasure over visit of the delegation, affirming the revolution commitment to put Sudan on the right track. ab/MO
