Darfur government meets Volker Turk to review human rights

El Fasher, Nov. 16 (SUNA) - The Governor of Darfur region, Minni Arko Minawi, arrived today in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, accompanied by the governor of the state, Nimr Abdel Rahman. Governor Minawi to preside the meeting of the government of Darfur region, in the presence of the governor of North Darfur, Nimr Abdel Rahman, and the governor of West Darfur, Khamis Abdullah Abkar, with the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, who arrived in El- Fasher to inspect the human rights situation in Darfur.
