Singer Omer Ihsas Calls for Adherence to National Values and Reconciliations

Khartoum, May 7 (SUNA)- The singer, Omer Ihsas, has called for upholding national values and making reconciliations between all the Sudanese entities and communities through the societal dialogue and closing the door of sedition and differences. He called, upon receiving a delegation of the Independent Alliance of December Revolution Entities on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, on the native administration to live up to its role in patching up the rift in the social fabric, ending disputes and seditions and keeping away from regionalism and ethnical disputes and taking advantage of the rich cultural and religious heritage in Sudan. He also called on his fellow singers to choose the meanings and words that embody the national unity and renounce regionalism and ethnical fanaticism, and to call for the unity of views by taking advantage of the diversity that characterizes Sudan. On his part, the Deputy Secretary General of the Independent Alliance of December Revolution Entities, Sami Abdul-Moniem, has briefed the singer Omer Ihsas, about the goals of the Entity and its call for unity and agreement on the national principles toward achieving a civil and democratic rule. He pointed out that Omer Ihsas is one of the great singers who made the Sudanese song a bridge for community communication and domination of the tolerant Sudanese values and morals, referring to the method of the singer Omer Ihsas in producing patriotic songs that call for peace, unity and love among the people.
