Trade Unions Law Approved

Khartoum, June 13 (SUNA) – The Council of Minister chaired by the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk endorsed the draft bill of the controversial Trade Unions Law. Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform, Taissir Al-Norani outlined in press statements that the cabinet in its emergency session discussed the Trade Unions law for 2021 after a number of consultations lasted for months. The minister added that the endorsement of the law represents a real start for the implementation of the requirements of the democratic transition in the country. The Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform welcomed the approval at today's meeting, in preparation for its approval in the joint meeting of the Council of Ministers and the Transitional Sovereign Council.
