Prof. Debailo Meets ACGPS' Secretary General

Khartoum, Dec. 3(SUNA)- Chairperson of the National Peace Commission Prof. Suleiman Debailo met at his office in Khartoum, Thursday with the Secretary General of the African Center for Governance and Peace Studies (ACGPS) Dr. Mahmoud Zain Al -Abdeen. Prof. Debailo received briefing during the meeting on programs and activities of the Center in supporting Juba peace agreement in the field of training and capacity building that targeted armed struggle movements, the civil society organizations, media and the governmental institutions. Prof. Debailo pointed to the importance of preaching the peace agreement particularly at the grassroots level with the participation of the negotiators, media and civil society organizations. This he said would grantee an effective sustainable peace. AA/BT
