Khartoum State: Measures to face COVID-19 second wave

Khartoum, Nov.22 (SUNA) – The Khartoum State joint central Committee for COVID-10 Emergencies chaired by the Wali of the State, Ayman Khaled Ninmir held a meeting , Sunday, to review the developments of the health situations amid the pandemic second wave. The meeting heard to a report presented by the Director General of the Ministry of Health , Dr.Taj Esir Manofali who reviewed the current situation of the disease second wave, affirming that the situation of the pandemic infection is in continued rise in the light of the limited health capabilities compared to the number of the infections. Based on the health report, the meeting approved a number urgent directive to be implemented top of which, providing citizens with detailed information about the danger of the second wave in a transparent manner, infection cases and the situation in the hospitals. The Khartoum state committee will work with the Higher Committee for Health Emergencies to resume the work of the media platform and harness all the media, press, electronic media and social media to deliver the media message to make citizens well aware of the danger of the disease. The meeting also assured the issuance of binding decisions to implement health precautions. The Ministry of Health was also instructed to hold a press conference to give citizens full information and facts and issue a daily media report. IF/IF
