Sudan Affirms Cooperation with WFP

Khartoum, March.8 (SUNA) - The State Minister, at the Foreign Ministry, Omar Gammar Edeen received, Sunday, at his office, the Director of the World Food Program’s Office, (WFP) in Sudan, Hamid Noro. The WFP official briefed Gammaredeen on the activities of the program in Sudan and the program -implemented projects in the different Sudanese states, referring to the WFP efforts to make a success the ZERO HUNGER Project, in Sudan by the year 2030 in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He lauded the government cooperation to facilitate the WFP mission in Sudan. Meanwhile, the minister commended the WFP programs in Sudan, affirming the government full cooperation to remove the obstacles facing the program in the country. IF/IF
