Madani Affirms Importance of Activate Border Trade

Khartoum, Sep. 30 (SUNA) – The Minister of Trade and Industry, Madani Abbas Madani, has affirmed the importance of reactivating the border trade withe the neighboring countries due to its role in realizing social and economic development. Madani statedin a statement to SUNA that the priorities of the ministry include reactivation of the border trade and the exchange of goods and services between border withe neighboring countries for ending the smuggling and saving resources. He noted that the border trade will contribute to providing basic commodities for the border states and to make balance at internal market. Madani has pointed tothe importance of reactivating the exchange of goods with South Su-dan for more benefis. MH/MO
