Al Burhan Abiy Ahmed affirm desire of Sudan and Ethiopia for developed relations

 The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel- Fattah Al-Burhan has affirmed the deep-rooted Sudanese-Ethiopian relations, expressing wishes of the two brotherly peoples to build strong and constructive relations. In a press statement at the conclusion of the Ethiopian Prime Minister's visit to the country, Al-Burhan expressed his welcome to the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's visit to Sudan, stressing Sudan's desire and keenness for a united and strong Ethiopia, just as Ethiopia also wishes for a strong and unified Sudan.
The President of the Sovereignty Council stated that he had heard a thorough briefing from the Ethiopian Prime Minister about his country's experience in addressing the challenges it faced, hailing the consensus that was reached on the Tigray region. He referred to Sudan's serious endeavor to maintain a safe and stable neighborliness with Ethiopia, as well as to advance the common interests of the two brotherly peoples. Al-Burhan expressed his hope that such visits between the two countries will continue, as they contribute to strengthening bilateral relations. The Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, affirmed that the meetings he held with the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, his deputy General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, and a number of political parties were clear and constructive. He expressed his confidence in the ability of the Sudanese leadership to manage the political crisis and overcome it with great wisdom based on a settlement that achieves the interests, security and stability of the Sudanese people.
The Ethiopian Prime Minister referred to the deeprooted and strong Sudanese-Ethiopian relations, expressing his deep appreciation for the hospitality of the Sudanese people.
