Cooperation Between Aljazeera University and German Medical Company

Aug.30 2017 - Aljazeera University and the German International Medical Development Company signed a cooperation agreement at the headquarters of the Sudanese Mission in Germany.
The agreement was signed in behalf of the university by Mohamed Omar Mohamed, Director of Aljazeera University and Ibrahim AlArabi, Director General of the Company, with the presence of the international expert, the Chairman of the Board Fred Oul Eskliql, the head of the Sudanese mission in Germany, Ambassador Badralddin Abdullah.
Warraq said that the agreement includes the preparation of a global feasibility study, and the search for regional or international funding from institutions and bodies involved in funding large educational and humanitarian projects that are important to serve the communities, adding that the preparation of the study will not take long.
He said that the hospital project will be built on an area of more than 40 thousand square meters «more than 10 acres» at a total cost of more than 50 million dollars, to serve the whole country.
And that there are other provisions in the agreement on the modernization and development of all faculties of the university and its existing sectors, pointing out in this regard that the delegations from the university will come to Germany, especially in the areas of technology transfer, health, engineering, industrial, IT networks, field of languages and education.
For his part, the director of the German company that they will contribute to the establishment of the University Hospital of the island with interest to all scientific colleges and encourage students to learn the language in Germany.
The head of the Sudanese delegation in Germany, Ambassador Badralddin Abdullah, said that the signing of the agreement comes within the framework of the developed relationship between Sudan and Germany in the field of technology transfer and the field of higher education and scientific research, it also comes as a complement to efforts to develop relations after the meeting of Sudanese universities and research centers which held in Khartoum in March From last year however the second forum will be held in Berlin in the fourth quarter of this year.
He said that the Sudan would benefit from technology transfer and the German experience in serving and developing research on community issues. The Director of Aljazeera University presented a symbolic gift to the Ambassador of Sudan in Germany.
