FM Assistant Undersecretary Meets Chinese Ambassador

Khartoum, July 3 (SUNA) – The Foreign Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary, Ambassador Elham Ibrahim Mohamed, received Wednesday the Ambassador of China to Khartoum. At the outset of the meeting, Ambassador Elham has thanked the government of China for facilitating Sudan partuicipation in the Chinese - African Cooperation Forum which was held in Bejing in last June, expressing Sudan’s appreciation of China's continuous support to the country’s issue in the UN Security Council. She also commended China’s economic assistance to Sudan, affirming that Sudan gives top priority to the Chinese companies operating in the country and the Chinese nationals resident in the country. Meanwhile, the Chinese diplomat has affirmed his government’s great concern with strengthening its relations with Sudan, expressing China's readiness to extend all the reguired support to Sudan. IF/MO
