Daglo Directs Reckoning of the Country’s Inmates

Khartoum, May 22(SUNA)-Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Military Council(TMC)-Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has given directive for counting inmates in the nationwi-de prisons and classifying their cases so as to be addressed , referring to efforts being exerted to resolve the inmates issues across the country to employ their capacities in construction. Addressing Kober prison inmates Wednesday in presence of head of TMC’s professional and social committee, Lt. Gen.(pilot) Slah Abdul-Khaliq Saeed and police ‘ General Direc-tor, Daglo called for placing more attention to issues of police forces and called the police officers to be among their forces on the ground to boost spirit of field work. The TMC Deputy Chairman said it was responsivity of TMC to dispense justice and solve issues of ordinary people , stressing that the country has tremendous resources which would be equally shared by all people of Sudan. He affirmed that the era of discrimination between the citizens has gone forever and called on all to cooperate to pull the country out to safety. The TMC Deputy Chairman renewed that TMC did not cling to power but , he added, it would remain the guarantor for transition of power through a free and fair elections , underli-ning that the Sudan’s issues would be solved via dialogue.
