Daglo: National Values, Transparency and Justice shall be Upheld

Khartoum, May 21 (SUNA) – Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Military Council (TMC), Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, Tuesday chaired a meeting at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers, which included the Undersecretaries of the federal ministries and the Secretary General of Khartoum State, and stressed the importance of upholding the values of patriotism, the interest of the nation, transparency, justice, honesty in work, providing services to citizens, maintaining stability and peace, and improving people's living conditions. Lt. Daglo has underscored importance of the transitional period in in the establishment of true democracy and consensus and accord between different components of Sudanese society, giving good news of a near signing of agreement between the Transitional Military Council and the Forces for Freedom and Change. He referred to the role of the Amed Forces and Rapid Support Forces and other regular forces in the success of the revolution, affirming the need to enforce the law on everyone and intensify efforts to restore confidence to the banking system. He appreciated the role of the undersecretaries in steering work at the ministries, asserting the importance of discipline in the work. MO
