Rapid intervention Forces confiscate 85 kilo of Smuggled Gold
Khartoum, 8 Jan (SUNA) - A unit from the Rapid Intervention Forces RIF on Monday apprehended a group of gold smugglers trying to sneak 85 kilos of gold from the Sudan to a neighboring country.
Colonel Abdul Rahyaman Jaali, the official spokesman for the force, said his forces deployed along the Sudan chad borders arrested two gold smugglers who were taking over 85 kilos of gold out of the country
He said the RIP remains vigilant against those seeking to sabotage the national economy through smuggling. He said the forces are fully securing the borderline areas between the Sudan and Chad.
