President of the Republic, Omer Al-Bashir, Monday received the credentials of the new ambassadors of Indonesia, Britain and Russia to Sudan. At the credential ceremonies, President Al-Bashir has affirmed Sudan keenness to strengthen its relations and cooperation with these countries. In a press statement, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Abdul-Ghani Al-Naeem, said that President Al-Bashir affirmed that Sudan is entering an era of peace and economic openness. He said that President Al-Bashir has asserted the government readiness to support the new ambassadors during their office term in SUDAN. He stated that the meeting has discussed means of consolidating the relations and the exchange of visits between Sudan and the three countries.
Meanwhile, the Ambassador of Russia affirmed the desire of his country to strengthen its relations and cooperation with Sudan, especially in the economic field. He pledged to work during his office term for consolidating the bilateral relations in all domains. The Ambassador of Britain, Irfan Siddiq, said that the Sudanese - British relations have witnessed important improvement in the past period, referring to the cooperation between the two countries in several fields.
