Sudan on Monday renewed its full support and backing for Addis Ababa in its efforts to stabilize the situation in Ethiopia
The Assistant of the President of the Republic and the Vice Chairman of the National Congress, Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim, has said sudn is confident Ethiopian leadership and people are capable of restoring full stability in the country.
The Assistant on Monday received the new Ethiopian ambassador to the Sudan, Mulugeta Zewdi, who told reporters following the meeting that he and Dr Faisal discussed means of further boosting the strategic relations between the two countries
He said they also reviewed the political developments in Ethiopia following the resignation of the Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegn.
He descried the meeting as being fruitful and came up with answers to the questions on the table.
He said Dr Faisal has expressed Sudan's confidence in the ability of the Ethiopian leadership and people to bring in stability in Ethiopia in a way that would result in development and stability.
